What do I do at work?
I handle a mixed caseload of personal injury accident cases including accident at work cases, slips, trips and other accidents in public places and also road traffic accidents. I deal with injuries ranging from the relatively minor to the more serious.
What have I done?
I trained as a solicitor in Bradford and remained there after I qualified. I worked on varied matters in addition to personal injury cases including general civil files, conveyancing, probate and family matters. I have always done a lot of personal injury work but shortly after I qualified, I decided to specialise only in personal injury and moved to a firm in Leeds. I am from Manchester and moved back to the area in 2003. I was promoted to an associate at my last place of employment but I left there in order to work in Manchester city centre.
What do I like?
I like to travel and I climbed to the summit of Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Africa and I have trekked the Inca Trail in Peru. I have also been to Jordan, Brazil, USA and Canada as well as many European countries.
I enjoy walking and I have completed the Yorkshire Three Peaks. I also like going out with friends and shopping.
