What do I do at work?
I am an experienced personal injury litigator within the firm. I handle a large and varied case load. I enjoy unusual and complex claims, in particular accidents which occur abroad. I have recently successfully acted for a client who sustained significant injury whist on holiday in Spain, recovering a six figure sum in damages. I have assisted one of the firm's partners in concluding a catastrophic injury claim, resulting in a damages award of £2.5 million.
What have I done?
I qualified as a solicitor in 1999, having spent several years traveling and working in Europe. I spent a year studying French law at a large University in Paris. As a result I speak French and have studied over the years (with various degrees of success) Spanish, German and Italian.
I regularly give interviews to the media on Ralli's behalf on particular important topics of the moment. During the course of the last 12 months I have spoken to a large number of local and national radio stations. I have appeared live on the BBC discussing compensation claims for victims of accidents abroad. I have also settled a number of notable claims in the UK which have attracted media interest and details of my cases have appeared in , amongst others, the Daily Telegraph, BBC online and the Sun.
I am a key member of Ralli's nursing home abuse team (see www.nursinghomeabuse.co.uk), dedicated to acting for victims of neglect in UK care homes.
What do I like?
I enjoy playing and watching football and am a life long Chelsea fan, something which is particularly hard to sustain in a firm full of Manchester United supporters. I love and could talk for hours about virtually all sports. I relax by going to the cinema, reading and spending time with my family.
