My Job Title: Law Costs Assistant

Professional Qualifications: 
Currently in my 2nd year studying for ILEX professional Diploma in Law (Level 3)

What do I do at work?   
I assist the Costs Department, chasing defendant solicitors/insurance companies for offers, updating fee earners as to the position of files, overseeing any files that have been sent externally. Also any predictive costs files come to me to deal with to get schedules drafted and sent out to defendants.

What have I done?   
Previously worked for a defendant firm in Old Trafford, where I worked in the Costs department doing a variety of jobs from assisting fee earners to dealing with the major insurer clients.

What do I like?  
Weekends are mostly spent with family and friends watching Bolton Wanderers and on the odd occasion they get into Europe there are usually a few European trips we all go on! Although I do like to make time to add to my extensive handbag collection when I can!!
