What do I do at work ?

Business set ups and restructuring, business finance and security, sales, purchases and mergers and acquisitions, partnerships and unincorporated associations, Website/IT contracts and other commercial contracts, Intellectual Property and most other work on business affairs. I work with colleagues on property, employment and insolvency matters.

I write topical articles for the firm's newsletter "Periscope" and for publication.I also assist with other marketing and development of the firm and the department including precedent creation and support roles.

What have I done?

Joined the firm having previously worked in the corporate teams at Irwin Mitchell and Harvey Ingram Owston.

Biggest corporate transaction of my career to date is with this firm being a management buy out at a deal value of about £36m acting for the management team with Adrian Anderson and Mark Higgins. The company was subsequently sold in the 12-24 months following for about £60m giving the team we acted for a fantastic investment return.

What do I like?

Tennis, Ten Pin Bowling, Pool, Board and Computer Gaming, Theatre/Cinema, Reading, Places of Historic, Cultural and Scientific Interest.
