Paula Bridge
Consultant
I am an experienced Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence practitioner. I cover all areas such as Industrial Disease, Employer Liability, Serious RTA , Medical and Clinical Negligence and Cosmetic Surgery.
I head the Clinical Negligence department which deals with a variety of medical and dental negligence cases, including complications at birth leading to Autism and developmental problems, DePuy hip replacement and Pip implant cases.
I also have a variety of cosmetic surgery cases which unfortunately seems to be a growing area of litigation.
What have I done?
I was previously involved in the creation and growth of a specialist Personal Injury Practice in Manchester, becoming a Partner in 2000. I was responsible for various departments and was also the Training Principal and from 2004 shared in the business Development and management of the firm.
I have represented Catastrophically injured Claimants and am an approved Panel member of Headway, the Brain Injury Association.
I have and continue to act as Trustee for previous clients in relation to the management of their Personal Injury funds.
Away from the Law I have waterskiied competitively and am a keen runner having completed numerous races.
I have worked actively with Francis house, being involved in the organisation of charity events and also within the Hospice itself with the children.
What do I like?
Outdoor sports and travelling (having previously worked in a Canadian Law Firm and a hostel in St Agustine, Florida).
Skiing with my family and spending some quality time with my 3 children. I also enjoy my Husbands hobby of Fine Wine!
