What do I do at work?

As Head of IT, my role involves developing the IT strategy for the firm, ensuring that all IT services are operational and management of the IT team.

What have I done?

I became a Computer Manager for Granyte Surface Coatings, a paint company in Salford (Granyte battleship grey went to the Falklands). Whilst at Granyte, I also gained a BSc (Hons) in Applied Computing doing a part-time course at the same time as working full time and having a young family (not recommended!).
I first joined a law firm in 2002 and was based in Skelmersdale. There, I rapidly gained experience of applications such as Visualfiles and Bighand before returning to Manchester to join Ralli.

What do I like?

Bob Dylan, MUFC, Bushmills, Green & Blacks chocolate, the Stone Roses, the West Wing (in no particular order).
