Legal Staff
At Ralli we take particular care of who is hand picked into each Department. All our staff are required to be able to see the world from our client's viewpoint. We adopt a professional and assertive approach to our client's predicament, whilst excercising guile when dealing with their opponents.
Mona Niayesh
Trainee Solicitor
My Job Title: Trainee Solicitor
Date I Joined Ralli: September 2010
Professional Qualifications:
Law and French LLB at Leeds University- 1st class with distinction in French
Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School, Manchester- Distinction
What do I do at work?
I am currently a Trainee in the employment team. I am being supervised by Mark Higgins the employment Partner. I will be drafting letters of advice to clients, drafting employment contracts and compromise agreements and attending meetings with clients.
I will be working on both contentious and non contentious employment work.
Prior to this seat I spent six months in the personal injury department where I drafted witness statements, attended conferences with counsel and conducted research on various issues.
What have I done?
I undertook a Law and French degree at Leeds University and as part of my course I spent one year in Toulouse reading French law. It was a fabulous experience and allowed me to immerse myself in a different culture and to perfect my linguistic skills!
During the year I travelled all over France, for instance, Lyon, Strasbourg, Paris, Albi, Marseille, Cannes and Montpellier and I also acquired a taste for fine French food!
I do enjoy artistic activities and am proud to say that I have managed to sell one of my paintings quite recently.
What do I like?
I enjoy drawing and painting in my spare time and equally anything which is creative. I must admit that I have a penchant for knitting at the moment, although I probably shouldn’t admit that!
I like going to the gym regularly for a cardiovascular workout as well as swimming to keep fit.
I also appreciate good food and like cooking and baking, going to the cinema and socialising with friends. In fact, I recently baked a two tiered cake for a friend’s birthday meal at a restaurant and was offered a position as a Pastry Chef that same night, but my heart was set on working for Ralli!
