Gillian Nuttall
PR & Marketing Manager
Joined Ralli: 1996
What do I do at work?
I oversee the firm's PR & Marketing activities, liaise closely with our clients, advertising agents and PR agents, arrange seminars, sort out exhibitions, basically anything that is nice, shiny and friendly, I get to do! I do a lot of work in respect of our sponsorship of Sale Sharks, organising the events, dinners etc. In 2008 we had a new recruit in marketing, Rob Illidge and Rob compliments the team here at Ralli. As part of the management team I report to the firm regarding PR & Marketing activities and am always very keen on new and innovative ideas for the marketing of a law firm of this size.
What have I done?
Having worked at a few law firms since 1990, I joined the firm in 1996. In 1999 I left the firm (and you know it isn't true, the grass is NOT always greener!) In 2001, I came back to the fold, to find the place had grown bigger and better! Ralli is growing and I am very proud to be a part of such a forward thinking law firm.
What do I like?
I enjoy singing, listening to music, spending time with my family and friends, and believe in living each day as it comes. In 2007 I became closely connected with the Christie Hospital and in April 2008 I launched Factor 50 which fundraises for research into Malignant Melanoma. www.factor50.org.uk The partners and staff at Ralli are very supportive of this and other charity work, having done events such as runs, swims, mountain challenges etc. In April 2009 Ralli hosted the first His and Hers Factor 50 dinner which was attended by 300 guests, including celebrities from the Premiership and Coronation Street. We raised £12,000 for the Christie and had some wonderful compliments. The effort was so worthwhile.
