Joined Ralli:  December 2004 as a paralegal in Business Litigation Department, became a Trainee Solicitor in July 2006 and qualified as a solicitor in January 2008.

Admitted as a solicitor:  2nd January 2008

Qualifications:  LL.B (Hons) Law

What do I do at work?

I work as part of the business law team assisting clients to resolve disputes in a manner which best suits their particular needs. I provide the best service possible by listening to my client's goals then being honest and realistic from the outset. Although every case is different, I approach each one with the same desire to achieve the best possible result for my client whether that is a negotiated settlement or a Court trial.

What I have done?

Before joining Ralli, I spent 20 months travelling the world.

For four months I looked after young children on a summer camp in Vermont, USA. Following this I spent two months in a very small van travelling over land from New York to L.A. I visited all the major attractions en route and I was lucky enough to have partied away a couple of nights in the Jazz bars of New Orleans before they were destroyed.

I also spent 12 months living, working and generally enjoying life in Australia. I ate food that I could not pronounce in Hong Kong, I climbed a glacier and went sky diving in New Zealand and I know you will not believe me but this is absolutely true, I got charged at by a white Rhino, from less than 5 meters away, whilst riding a mountain bike in Swaziland!  Perhaps this was where I learned to manage the stress of returning to Manchester to complete my legal studies part-time, buy my first house and work as a full time paralegal all at the same time.

What do I like?

I like enjoying life to the maximum. I love foreign travel, visiting new places, learning new languages and experiencing new cultures. I love to dance, particularly salsa, and I have recently joined a local amateur dramatics society.  I enjoy socialising with my friends and family, keeping fit and seeing how quickly my Husband and I can hike to the top of a mountain in the Lake District.   As you can see, I like to be busy!!
