Clare Perchal
Solicitor
My Job Title: Personal Injury Solicitor
Date I Joined Ralli: 3 September 2007
Admitted as a solicitor: September 2009
Professional Qualifications:
LLB. (Hons) Law, University of Liverpool. LPC BPP Manchester where I gained a distinction.
What do I do at work?
I undertook my training contract at Ralli undertaking seats in Personal Injury, Crime, Corporate and Commercial Litigation.
I qualified into the Personal Injury department where on a day to day basis I deal with Client's claims as a result of road traffic accidents, accidents at work and in public places. I also deal with CICA and Motor Insurers Bureau claims.
I regularly assist one of the partners in high value cases involving permanent spinal and brain injuries.
I am also currently acting for a number of former and serving police officers in a precedent High Court Case against the Chief Constable under the Protection from Harassment Act.
What have I done?
After finishing my LPC I spent two months travelling and visited Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Fiji and LA! A few highlights were climbing the Sydney Harbour Bridge being attached only by a tiny wire, and snorkelling the Great Barrier Reef with a shark. I hasten to add it was quite small and harmless!
I have completed my first big run this year, taking part in the Manchester 10k in aid of the Willow Foundation, and I am thinking about running further distances in the future.
What do I like?
I love all kinds of sport and can often be found in the gym or swimming pool. I like Skiing, and playing / watching tennis. I enjoy horse riding and can be found at the stables a few times a week. I also enjoy watching rugby and football. I often go to the theatre and to concerts. I have recently started walking but only in fair weather!
