What do I do at work?

I am a trainee solicitor in the Employment Department at Ralli where I assist the solicitors in the department with their files.

I give general advice to companies and their directors, such as the implementation of new employment policies, or more specific advice for companies and individual employees including  TUPE related mergers/acquisitions and disposals, employment disputes ranging from removal of directors through to unfair dismissal advice.

What have I done? 
 
Before joining Ralli I worked for a number of large retail companies where I gained invaluable business experience.

At the same time I studied for my law degree at Manchester University where I achieved a 2:1 LLB degree with Honours. I then studied for a further year completing the Legal Practice Course with distinction in 2008.

I joined Ralli in September 2008 where I am now undertaking my two year training contact.  I am currently in my third seat which is Employment and I have already undertaken seats in the Business Litigation and Personal Injury departments.

I will also be completing a seat in the Corporate department.

                                              
What do I like?

I enjoy watching films, travelling when possible, and socialising.  I also enjoy going to the gym and spending time with friends and family.
