What do I do at work?

I am a trainee solicitor in the Corporate Department at Ralli where I assist the solicitors in the department with their files.

I give general advice to companies and their directors, and assist in drafting documents such as shareholder agreements, cross option deeds and board minutes. I also advise on company formation and shareholder disputes.  In addition, I assist the partnership team with a wide range of matters including partnership disputes, formation and partnership agreements.

I am also involved in estate planning including drafting wills and administering estates.

What have I done? 
 
Before joining Ralli I worked for a number of large retail companies where I gained invaluable business experience.

At the same time I studied for my law degree at Manchester University where I achieved a 2:1 LLB degree with Honours. I then studied for a further year completing the Legal Practice Course with distinction in 2008.

I joined Ralli in September 2008 where I am now undertaking my two year training contact.  I am currently in my final seat which is Corporate and I have already undertaken seats in the Commercial Litigation, Personal Injury and Employment departments.

What do I like?

I enjoy watching films, travelling when possible, reading and socialising.  I also enjoy going to the gym and spending time with friends and family.
