My Job Title: Litigate Assistant

Date I Joined Ralli: August 2009. I was actually offered the position on my 22nd birthday!

Professional Qualifications:

A Levels – A, A, B
LLB (Hons) - Manchester Metropolitan University
LPC - BPP Law School, Manchester
LLM in Professional Legal Practice – BPP Law School, Manchester

What do I do at work?

I am currently working as a litigate assistant within the funding team in the Personal Injury department.

My main role involves ascertaining whether a client has before the event legal expenses insurance and issuing after the event insurance policies when required. This is my first experience of working in a legal environment and the friendly ethos of the firm really makes it a rewarding and enjoyable experience. I am proud to be working in a law firm as prestigious as Ralli.

What have I done?

My life has been dominated by my studies. After having obtained my Law degree with a 2:1
degree classification, I then went on to study the LPC at BPP Law School.

At present, as well as working at Ralli, I am also undertaking my Masters degree which comprises of two independently researched projects.

My preference of projects are immigration law based on the new points based system and the other in family law, discussing the implications of the recent case decision of Myerson v Myerson. Very interesting!

What do I like?

I love sports especially tennis and football. I am a very proud Manchester United fan. Other than sports, I love my music, my life without cannot exist!

Other hobbies and interests include going to the cinema, cooking, fundraising, travelling, reading fiction novels, shopping and spending time with family and friends.
