Andrew Coyne
Graduate Clerk
My Job Title: Law Costs Draftsman
Date I Joined Ralli: August 2009
Professional Qualifications: Law degree from University of Leeds
What do I do at work?
I draft legal costs on matters which damages have been settled on. I send out schedule’s on predictive and non-predictive costs in the firms Personal Injury Department.
What have I done?
I played rugby league and union before, and whilst at University. I also completed Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. I have attained a number of Associated Board music exams on a few different instruments.
I graduated from Leeds University with a 2:1 in Law in July ’09, having had an active role on the Leeds University Law Society committee as sports secretary in second year, and in my final year I was Vice-President. When finishing at University I completed a 2 week vacation scheme at Halliwells. I’ve also done a few weeks work experience here at Ralli in the past.
What do I like?
I love watching and playing sports, particularly rugby and football (although I’m terrible at football given that I turn like a ship!). I like going to concerts, but the list of the concerts I have been to has attracted criticism from some member of this firm already. I’m a Manchester City fan and have been since I was 7 or 8 years old, therefore not a money follower.
