Fair Trade and the Cooperative movement

-Q&A discussion with Dr Samantha Lacey
followed by cheese and FT wine reception

Samantha is a researcher at The Cooperative College where she is investigating the role of producer, trader and retailer co-operatives in the growth of Fair Trade. She is also advising on the establishment of smallholder tea co operatives in Kenya to supply a UK Fairtrade labelled tea. She previously worked for Co-operative Investments as a Responsible Shareholding Analyst. During this time she was a member of the Executive Board of the Roundtable for Sustainable Palm Oil.
