Day 26: Closing submissions to be given

Closing submissions are to be given by both parties in the case of Dowson & Others -v- The Chief Constable of Northumbria Police on Tuesday 20th July and Wednesday 21st July.
The judge will then retire to consider his verdict which will be handed down later this year.
This marks the ends of a six week trial which deals with precedent legal issues under the Protection from Harassment Act 1997.
The outcome of this case will be vital for those who have suffered or face allegations of bullying and/or harassment in the workplace or wider society.
The trial at Newcastle Upon Tyne District of the High Court surrounds 6 former and still serving Northumbria Police officers who are claiming damages from the Chief Constable for harassment and bullying.
