Dowson & Others -v- Chief Constable of Northumbria Police
Thu 5th Aug 10 - 12:06

The Dowson & Others -v- Chief Constable of Northumbria Police civil trial has been completed with Mr Justice Simon set to give a reserved judgment in October 2010.

The civil trial surrounding the Northumbria Police officers – some of whom still serve with the force – was heard at Newcastle District of the High Court, with allegations of bullying and harassment by Detective Chief Inspector Chief Constable Bob Pallas.

This is a precedent case under the Protection from Harassment Act and the outcome is hugely important to police officers regionally and nationally.
