Business Transfers and Employment Law

Significant individual and collective employment rights exist in business transfer situations by virtue of regulations designed specifically to protect the employee. These regulations are commonly referred to as 'TUPE'. The definition of a business transfer is not restricted to the sale or purchase of a business.
