Ralli’s resident Auntie Gill returns…
So, Cheryl Cole has finally realised that Ashley is nothing more than a waste of space when it comes to husband material. I imagine that her 3 and a half year marriage has been a struggle. To be fair, the amount of time they have probably had as “husband and wife” has been limited at best. They wanted children together? Why?
When I had my children I took a break from my work so that I could give them the best possible start in life. As the mother of two well adjusted, caring adults, I’m glad I did. I wonder if Ashley and Cheryl would have stepped back from the limelight for a few years in order to give their children some proper attention?
I heard an interesting interview with Max Clifford earlier today. He was asked if Cheryl or Ashley had contacted him. He said no, and you couldn’t help but notice the disappointment in his voice. He must be itching for that phone to ring! Does Cheryl really need a PR guru to help her through this?
If I were in her situation, I’d be wanting someone like Stuart Page to represent me. A lawyer who knows his stuff and can deal with the press, can sort out the divorce side of things quickly and quietly.
So fighting for her love didn’t produce the right results for Cheryl and Ashley Cole, let’s see what the coming months bring by way of the media circus.
